Dr. Darryl R. Voight, Optometric Physician
Dr. Voight received his Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell University in 1985. He then spent six years on active duty in the U.S. Air Force before leaving in 1991 to pursue a career in optometry at Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO). While at PCO, Dr. Voight received numerous academic scholarships, and honors in his clinical rotations.
After graduating from PCO in 1995, Dr. Voight joined the U.S. Air Force reserves at McGuire Air Force Base, NJ where he has been serving since February 1996 as the Chief Optometrist for the 514th Aerospace Medical Squadron. The medical squadron is a unit of the 514th Air Mobility Wing (AMW), which supports airlift, air-refeuling and air evacuation missions. The 514th AMW has been supporting operations in Afganistan and Iraq over the past several years.
Dr. Voight was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel effective October 1st, 2006.
